Attorney Rick Morin

My name is Rick Morin and I am an attorney with a successful law practice in Downtown Sacramento.

My law practice is based upon an unrelenting desire to assist individuals and business owners with challenging legal issues.

My staff and I dedicate ourselves to providing world-class customer service. Hiring an attorney and going through a lawsuit, bankruptcy or other legal matter can be daunting. Starting with me, my whole team will do everything we can to make the process as easy as possible.

I also make a promise to all of my clients and prospective clients: when you call my office, I will always be available to talk. If I’m not available because of court or meetings, I will call you back as soon as possible. I don’t just take your money and then hide behind layers of assistants. That’s just wrong.

I grew up in Fair Oaks and attended local schools. I earned my undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento and I received my juris doctor degree, with distinction, from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law. I am proud to say that I passed the California bar exam on my first try.

While my practice is based here in Sacramento, I am licensed to practice in all California courts. I often accept litigation cases in Sacramento, Bay Area, and Southern California courts. The areas that I cover include Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Napa, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

I am a proud member of the Sacramento County Bar Association, Carmichael Chamber of Commerce, the Sacramento Valley Bankruptcy Forum, and the California Bankruptcy Forum.

Giving back to the community is important to me. I regularly volunteer at the bankruptcy help desk at the United States Bankruptcy Court and I am on the advisory panel for that program as well. I take select cases on a pro-bono basis. My blog provides excellent legal tips to consumers and business owners. Lastly, I serve as an advisory board member at my local park district, the Mission Oaks Recreation and Park District.

Please call me if you have any questions about a legal matter. I am confident that my law practice will be a good fit for your needs. You can reach me at (916) 333-2222.
